Save a website, step by step

Give it a friendly name if you like. That is the name everyone will see in the saved sites list.

How gently should we copy it?

Very slow · recommended Safest for most sites: roughly 2-5 pages per minute. Slow A gentle pace: roughly 5-10 pages per minute. Medium Faster, but still one connection: roughly 10-25 pages per minute.

The default is slow on purpose. It is kinder to the website and makes a more complete copy.

Link depth How many links away from the front page to follow. Transfer rate (KB/s) Lower is gentler on the website. Connections More connections are faster but less polite. Total size cap (MB) Stop the copy if it grows past this size. Time cap (hours) Sometimes written as a decimal, for example 1.5. Request timeout (seconds) How long to wait for a slow page. Retries How many times to retry a failed request.
